All-the-rage British band Bastille will be coming to Salt Lake City in December, headlining X96's annual "Nightmare Before Christmas" show.

The show is set for Monday, Dec. 2, at The Complex, 536 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City.

Bastille is best known for their single "Pompeii," released earlier this year from the band's first studio album, "Bad Blood." The band takes its name from the French holiday Bastille Day, July 14 — which is also frontman Daniel Smith's birthday.

The opening act is the indie-pop band Hellogoodbye.

Tickets for the show go on sale, for $9.60 each, Friday at 10 a.m., via PartyTix.com. However, 200 tickets will be sold in a buy one, get one free, deal Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m., at the F.Y.E. store, 5546 S. Redwood Rd., Taylorsville.
