Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• It's going to be a long wait until Pixar puts out another movie. The studio pushed its planned 2014 release "The Good Dinosaur" back to November 2015, after the release of "Inside Out" in June 2015. [Los Angeles Times]

• Crime does pay: The video game "Grand Theft Auto V" brought in $800 million on its first day of release. [Vulture]

• Hiroshi Yamauchi, the tycoon who turned a playing-card company called Nintendo into an international titan in video games, has died at the age of 85. [The Hollywood Reporter]
