Here's what's happening in pop culture:

• Your "American Idol" judges' panel is finally set: Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. The three start work today in Boston [The Hollywood Reporter]

• Dakota Johnson, star of the short-lived "Ben & Kate" and daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, and Charlie Hunnam, star of "Pacific Rim" and "Sons of Anarchy," have been cast in the lead roles for the "50 Shades of Grey" movie. [ABC News]

• Some notable deaths over the weekend: British TV presenter and interviewer David Frost, who famously pegged Richard Nixon in his 1977 TV interviews, died at the age of 74; science-fiction pioneer Frederik Pohl died at the age of 93; and former heavyweight boxer Tommy Morrison, who co-starred in "Rocky V" and later lost his career when he tested positive for HIV, died at the age of 44.
