• Character actor Richard LeParmentier has died at the age of 66. Though he appeared in such movies as "Octopussy" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?," LeParmentier is best recognized as Admiral Mott in "Star Wars, Episode IV: A New Hope" (aka, the original "Star Wars"), the Imperial officer whom Darth Vader started choking because he found Mott's lack of faith in The Force "disturbing."
