The Cricket's Daily 3: Messing with 'Jobs' opening
Here's what's happening today in pop culture:
• Remember how much hype there was at Sundance for "Jobs," the biopic of Steve Jobs that starred Ashton Kutcher. Now the distributor has pulled the movie from its planned April 19 release which, observers speculate, is either an act of desperation to figure out how to market the film, or a plan to open later to mount an Oscar campaign for Kutcher. (And, yes, someone used the words "Oscar" and "Ashton Kutcher" in the same sentence. Weird.) [The Huffington Post]
