Two of Salt Lake radio's leading ladies have been forced off the air with health problems.

Erin Collard, co-host of B98.7's morning show "Todd & Erin," has been suffering laryngitis since mid-December. According to her husband and radio partner, Todd Collard, in a post Monday on the duo's Facebook page, she can't speak for the next 10 days or risk damaging her voice permanently.

Meanwhile, Gina Barberi has been absent from X96's "Radio From Hell" show the last two mornings, after a weekend ice-skating accident at Salt Lake City's Gallivan Center left her with a concussion. She called into Tuesday's program just before her co-hosts, Bill Allred and Kerry Jackson, signed off for the day, and said she hoped to be back on the air Wednesday. She wasn't, but sent word that she's improving and may be back Thursday. (UPDATE: Gina was back on the air today.)
