Cleveland • As one Williams returns to the Jazz starting lineup, the other takes a seat on the bench.

Mo Williams will play his first game in more than two months Wednesday at Cleveland, while Marvin Williams will be replaced in the starting lineup by DeMarre Carroll.

"With Mo coming back," coach Tyrone Corbin said, "want to get somebody running the floor a little more, get some early opportunities."

With Al Jefferson out for the third straight game due to a sprained ankle, the Corbin is utilizing his 12th different starting five this season. Derrick Favors will start in place of Jefferson. Paul Millsap, who played in Monday's loss in Milwaukee despite a sprained left ankle, will also start. Earlier in the week, Corbin lamented slow starts by the Jazz, which had extended to the team's performance coming out of the locker room at halftime.

Marvin Williams is averaging career lows in points and rebounds in his first season with the Jazz. He failed to score a field goal in three of the Jazz's last five games.

Mo Williams underwent thumb surgery on Jan. 3 to replace ligaments town on Dec. 22 in Miami.
