Jazz visit Oklahoma City bombing memorial (photo)
Following Thursday's practice at Chesapeake Energy Arena, the Utah Jazz visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, the downtown site of the 1995 Alred P. Murrah Building bombing that killed 168 people, including 19 children.
For a detailed account of the visit, Mo Williams' Twitter feed is an excellent jumping off point.
It was the second time coach Tyrone Corbin has made a point to visit a key historical location while on the road with the Jazz, who play the hometown Thunder on Friday. Last year in Memphis, the Jazz visited the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Hotel, where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.
