BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall talked to reporters after Wednesday's practice as the Cougars prepared for Texas on Saturday.

Most notably, Mendenhall said that WR Cody Hoffman is "probable" for the game after missing the Virginia game with a sore hamstring.

Mendenhall said LB Uani Unga is "possible" and that DB Mike Hague is "doubtful."

The coach also said juco DB Sam Lee is still experiencing back issues and probably won't play all season. Lee might redshirt.

Bronco said that Chris Badger, the Notre Dame transfer, has practiced with the team since Monday and will probably appeal to the NCAA so he can be immediately eligible to play.
