Damarcus Harrison, the 6-foot-5 wing player from Greenwood, S.C., who now plays for Christ School in Arden, N.C., apparently enjoyed his visit to BYU this weekend. "BYU leads because it's my first visit," Harrison said. "They showed me the facilities and I hung out with the team. I watched them workout and they showed me how I could fit in. I really liked it," Harrison told Phil Kornblut of Palmettosports.com. Harrison has a visit to Florida State set for Sept. 18 (BYU's football team will play the Seminoles that weekend, ironically). BYU coaches will make a home visit to Harrison later this month. ———————————- Here's a link to a story in the San Francisco Chronicle today about BYU joining the West Coast Conference.———————————- And here's a story out of Colorado Springs updating the latest on Air Force defensive back Reggie Rembert, who suffered a neck injury Saturday against Northwestern State. Looks like Rembert is questionable, maybe even doubtful,l for the BYU-AFA game.
