What ever happened to Seven Mary Three?

I was listening to Pandora today and chose the playlist of 1990s alt-rock music, because I needed a break from listening to One Direction's album (since I will be reviewing the album in a week or so). I grew up in the 1990s, and it was fin to hear chestnuts from Pearl Jam, Bush, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Semisonic, and so on.

Then "Cumbersome" came on, and I remembered that I had always loved the song. So much so that I remember buying the album when I was in the Academy and was a member of both Columbia House and BMG's music clubs, where you buy 12 CDs for 1 cent.

I don't remember much about the album, which means that I probably didn't enjoy it that much. That doesn't speak well for the album, because enjoyment options at CGA were extremely limited.

But the song is great in its pretentious way:

I'd like to believe I could reconcile the pastResurrect those bridges with an ancient glanceBut my old stone face can't seem to break her downShe remembers bridges, burns them to the ground. There is a balance between two worldsOne with an arrow and a cross

What?
