MTV.com is reporting that Adam Lambert is prepping an acoustic album that could be released by Black Friday. Here is an excerpt:
Justin Bieber isn't the only newbie star preparing to release an acoustic set. Former "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert revealed in a recent interview that he's prepping an unplugged disc for the holidays as well.Lambert, speaking to Australian talker Dylan Lewis, said he would like to have the album out around Thanksgiving or in early December. "There is going to be an acoustic CD," said Lambert, who didn't reveal the title or track listing. "I don't have an exact release date. Probably around Thanksgiving time — November, December." If he does hit that date, he could face off against Bieber's acoustic set, which is slated for a November 23 release.
