Learn more about how to "eat local" during the free Harvest Festival at High Star Ranch in Kamas.

It will be held Saturday, Oct. 9 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the ranch, just off Route 32.

Apples, pumpkins and other fall produce will be available for purchase. There also will be local food vendors including artisan bread makers, cheesemakers and meat producers.

Park City restaurants and caterers will have food for sale and there also will be locally brewed beer and coffee.

The event also includes bluegrass music, dancing, children's activities and animal displays by members of Farmers of America.
