Enjoy "Everything Apples" on Sept. 23, during the Thursday Farmer's Market at the Utah Botanical Center, 800 S. 50 West, in Kaysville.
Enter your best apple treat in the "Tasty Apple Dessert Contest." Contestants should bring their finished dish along with a complete recipe to the contest booth before 6 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in three age categories including children (ages 5-12); teens (ages 13-18) and adult (ages 19 and up).
There also will be an apple pie eating contest at 7 p.m. with prizes.
