Harmons Grocery stores still has plenty of fresh locally-grown Anaheim peppers in stock, so it has extended its free chile roasting operation for two more weekends.
The free roasting is available at the Harmons at 7755 S. 700 East, in Murray; and 3955 W. 3500 South, in West Valley City.
Customers can purchase the fresh Anaheim chile peppers inside the store and then take them outside to be roasted in rotating mesh drums over an open flame.
The free roasting is available:
Friday, Sept. 10 and 17 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 11 and 18 from 1 to 6 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 12 and 19, from 1 to 5 p.m.
