Another side to Sea Salt

Last week, The Tribune gave Sea Salt, a new Salt Lake City restaurant, this three-star review. But not everyone agrees with our assessment of Chef Eric DeBonis' new restaurant. Stephanie W. e-mailed to tell us her view:

"My experience there was so negative I have vowed never to return. The server was surly, the portion embarrassingly tiny and the taste mediocre at best. And, to top it all off, when I asked for a simple piece of bread to go with my ten small arugula leaves, I was told I could purchase a foccacia order off of the appetizer menu, I later learned this appetizer consisted of four tiny pieces."

Stephanie went on to say that friends have had similar experiences:"At a dinner party the other night, at least 30 minutes was spent by all present discussing the horrible experiences each has had at Sea Salt. I have spoken to several people who have dined there and I have never heard one positive comment."Is Stephanie just an exception to the rule? If you've dined at Sea Salt, tell us what you think.
