Roberta Dolana Salt Lake City resident Roberta Dolana has been everything from an artist to an opera singer, writer and composer. But when asked where her heart lies, she immediately speaks about her work with children as a speech therapist and elementary school teacher.
Dolana has spent many years working on a multisensory teaching method to help children learn and remember what they have been taught. She loves educational writing and would someday like to write a book about personal awareness, what she considers to be "the No. 1 point of doing anything well in life."
Dolana has visited places around the world, and has a daughter who lives in Australia and a son in China. But her "favorite place on the planet" is Grand Teton National Park, for its incredible mountains, trees and animals. Her greatest social concern is illiteracy, which she believes is at the core of many social ills.
