The final 18-player roster for the 2009 MLS All-Star Team was completed Monday afternoon as Houston Dynamo coach Dominic Kinnear selected six additional players.
The MLS All-Stars will clash with England's Everton FC on July 29 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy.
None of the six add-ons play for Real Salt Lake; RSL midfielders Javier Morales and Kyle Beckerman were previously selected to the team.
Kinnear's choices Monday included three members of his own Houston club, two players from the Seattle Sounders and one from the Kansas City Wizards.
The game will be televised live on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m.
David Beckham, who recently rejoined the Los Angeles Galaxy after spending the first part of the MLS season with AC Milan, was left off the All-Star team.
Selected to the 14th annual midsummer showcase on Monday were Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad, Houston midfielder Brad Davis and Houston forward Brian Ching.
Representing the Sounders will be defender Jhon Kennedy Hurtado and forward Fredy Montero.
Kinnear also added one of the league's top attackers in Kansas City midfielder Davy Arnaud.
Onstad is expected to be the All-Stars' second goalkeeper. He ranks first in the league in goals against average (0.72), first in shutouts (eight) and first in wins (nine). It is Onstad's third selection to the MLS All-Star team. Davis is an All-Star for the second time, while Ching received his fifth nod to the squad.
All told, the final squad includes five members of the Dynamo, four from Seattle, two from the Chicago Fire and RSL, and one player each from Colorado, Columbus, Kansas City, Los Angeles and New England.
July 29 at Rio Tinto Stadium, 7:30 p.m., ESPN2, Galavision
