Posted: 9:48 AM- Judge senior Luke Puskedra was named this year's Gatorade Utah Boys' Cross Country Runner of the Year today, becoming a member of the inaugural class. He is now a finalist for the prestigious national award to be announced later this month.
In addition to capturing the Class 3A state championships with a time of 14 minutes, 54 seconds, Puskedra placed fifth at the national Foot Locker Cross Country Championships in 15:15.
He is also the state's returning Gatorade Track Athlete of the Year.
