Matt Phillips

HILLCREST

A big reason for the Huskies' success this season has been the play of the school's student-body president. Phillips has scored in double figures in Hillcrest's last six games, and he had 20 points in the team's win over Brighton last week.

Andrew Jordan

NORTHRIDGE

Jordan didn't wilt under the pressure of playing in front of Brigham Young coach Dave Rose on Friday night. Jordan scored 20 points and he controlled the boards. He also made some nice touch passes and blocked a few shots.

Preston Eaton

SPRINGVILLE

Can the Red Devils make a rare state tournament appearance? Eaton might carry his team on his shoulders and get it there. He has scored at least 20 points in Springville's last seven games and led the team to a win in its league opener.

Josh Shaw

MORGAN

Shaw opened the season on a hot streak and he has yet to cool down. Shaw, the lone returning starter from Morgan's near-perfect team last year, leads Class 3-A in scoring with a 22.4 points-per-game average.
