RYAN SANCHEZ

Class: Senior

School: Fremont

Position: Forward

Height: 6-3

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: His four-point play with 51.1 seconds remaining gave Fremont the lead for good in the team's 5-A title win over West Jordan. . . . He scored 17 points in the first quarter of his team's 65-60 win over Weber during the regular season. . . . He averaged 15 points per game during the state tournament. . . . He was a two-year starter at Fremont.

4-A MVP

JACKSON EMERY

Class: Senior

School: Lone Peak

Position: Guard

Height: 6-3

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: His near half-court basket at the end of the first quarter set the tone for Lone Peak's 59-31 4-A championship win over Box Elder. . . . He collected 27 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five steals in the win over the Bees. . . . He averaged 25 points per game during the state tournament. . . . He has signed to play at Brigham Young.

3-A MVP

DARIN MAHONEY

Class: Senior

School: Wasatch

Position: Center

Height: 6-8

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: His 311 career blocked shots puts him second behind Shawn Bradley on the state's all-time list. . . . He led the Wasps in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots and was second in assists and steals. . . . He averaged 19 points per game against 4-A and 5-A teams. . . . He's leaning toward committing to Weber State soon.

2-A MVP

MARQUIS WILSON

Class: Senior

School: Juan Diego

Position: Guard

Height: 6-1

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: He has distinguished himself as 2-A's top athlete by excelling in football, basketball and track. . . . He scored 19 points in Juan Diego's 68-38 win over Manti in the 2-A championship game. . . . He was also named to the all-state basketball team after his junior year. . . . He'll play football at the University of Utah.

JEFF CATRON

Class: Senior

School: Manila

Position: Guard

Height: 6-0

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: During the regular season, he shot 55 percent from the field and averaged 16.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. . . .
