With starting quarterback Billy Keddington on the bench, Trevor Robertson stepped in and led fourth-seeded Grand to the upset win in the Class 2A semifinals. Grand upended top-seeded Enterprise 28-14 in the biggest surprise of Saturday's quarterfinals.

Robertson had six rushes for 69 yards and kept drives alive with key completions to lead Enterprise.

"That's the player of the game right there if you ask me," Grand coach Dennis Wells said.

Keddington had 14 carries for 98 yards before being knocked out of the game with a possible concussion. Running back Dallon Dalton rushed for 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Dalton also returned a kick 87 yards for a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, Grand's defense did a nice job shutting down the spread offense of Enterprise.

"We did a good job getting to their quarterback, but just as important, we had the passing lanes shut down," Wells said. "That's the key to it, right there."

The win moves fourth-seeded Grand a spot in the semifinals against South Summit.
