Emery came into Morgan thinking upset and left thinking about the chances given up in a 30-19 Morgan win.

Emery quarterback Derek Tuttle threw for four interceptions as second-seeded Morgan came away with the home win to earn a berth in next week's Class 3A quarterfinals.

Running back Jordan Wamsley ran for 168 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Morgan offense. The Trojans threw the ball just twice on a cold night, with one completion for seven yards. Morgan ran for 355 yards.

Despite its problems, Emery led 13-12 at halftime. Tuttle finished 7-for-20 throwing for 90 yards and a touchdown.
