Thirteen minutes into the Woods Cross game at Highland Friday night, every fan was silenced and every Rams helmet was held down with the scoreboard blaring 23-0 in favor of the Wildcats.

But after a throng of Rams' fans flooded the field in elation to celebrate Highland's stunning 49-30 come back victory, pandemonium took over all those concerns.

Highland was able to overcome a 23-point deficit in one of the most impressive and exciting comeback of the year, clinching at least a share of Region 6 title behind quarterback Mason Keller, whose 280 yards and five touchdowns catapulted the Rams.

"It was definitely the most incredible thing I've ever done," said Keller, "I felt like I did my job, didn't leave my team down. We knew we just had to bond together and put the points on the board. "Every guy bonded together and just played their hearts out for this team.

Woods Cross jumped out quickly to start, with two touchdowns coming from tailback CJ Corry and another on a trick wide-out pass gadget play by Chase Capelluci demoralized Highland early in the first quarter. After a 24-yard Wildcats field goal, the game seemed headed to be a blow out with the score 23-0 early in the second quarter.

But within a blink of an eye, Woods Cross saw their lead crumble right in front of their eyes.

Rams quarterback Mason Keller found Tyler Murphy downfield for a 60-yard touchdown quickly, and after another three touchdowns in the final three minutes of the first half, Highland was on the prowl, 25-30.

Keller and the Rams didn't let up after the break. Right out of the gates, Keller found Murphy for the third time in the end-zone, scoring a 10-yard touchdown strike to give them a 32-30 lead that they never gave back.
