A new global Monopoly game board will feature Montreal as the most expensive property on the Here & Now Board along with Latvia's national capital, Riga.
Some 22 cities including Cape Town, Paris, Hong Kong, London, Vancouver, Barcelona and Tokyo are featured on the new board.
During a six-week period early this year, 5.6 million Monopoly fans from around voted for the global cities they wanted to see represented on the first-ever world-edition game.
The new game, which is now available in more than 50 countries and in 37 languages, has updated Chance and Community Chest cards highlighting events and culturally relevant scenarios from countries around the world.
Other new aspects include using renewable energy sources such as wind and solar instead of Water Works and Electric Company; tokens, houses and hotels that reflect icons and styles from the seven continents; and transportation spaces that include rail, cruise, air and space.
