Ballet West held a final dress rehearsal Thursday for its ninth annual new works program, "Innovations 2016," which takes the stage Friday through May 28 at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City. The annual program explores the newest works by Ballet West dancers and national and international choreographers. This year includes a full-company work by internationally known choreographer Jessica Lang and a world premiere by Ballet West Principal Artist Christopher Ruud.

When • Friday, May 20, through May 28: Thursdays through Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; May 25, 7 p.m.; May 28, 2 p.m. May 20-28; May 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 at 7:30 p.m.; May 25, 7 p.m.; and May 28, 2 p.m.
