The Great Salt Lake Yacht Club's annual Sail Fest is being held Wednesday through June 15 at the Great Salt Lake State Marina. The theme this year is Caribbean Island Time. Events include races, socials and meals. Visit www.gslyc.org for more information.

Wednesday - D.L. Davis Founder's Cup race, 6 p.m.

June 13 - Opening ceremonies, 6:30 p.m.; jerk pork barbecue, 7:30 p.m., $6 for adults, $4 for children 12 and younger; bonfire, 9 p.m.

June 14 - Free breakfast, 8:30-10:30 a.m.; Cardboard Boat Race, 10:30 a.m.; children's activities, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; free sails, noon to 2:30 p.m.; Caribbean steak or chicken dinner, 5:30 p.m. (adults $15, children's hamburgers $5); Zion Tribe reggae band, 8 p.m.; bonfire, 9 p.m.; flare launching, 10 p.m.

June 15 - Free breakfast, 8:30-10:30 a.m.; Utah Cup Offshore race, 9:30 a.m.; closing ceremonies, 3:30 p.m., with free hot dog barbecue.
