Shuttle resumes at Zion

The mandatory shuttle system at Zion National Park opens its ninth season of providing access to the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive on Saturday. The free shuttle begins regular service each day at 7 a.m. Shuttles depart every seven to 10 minutes during midday and about every 10-15 minutes in the morning and evening. Earth Day Art Contest

The deadline for the Ogden Nature Center's Earth Day Art Poster Contest is April 12. The theme is "Be a Planet Protector." The free contest is open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade; prizes will be awarded to three winners per grade. The two-dimensional art is restricted to a 9-by-12-inch poster.
