There is more to the International Sportsmen's Expo than drooling over once-in-a-lifetime fishing and hunting trips.
The Utah Department of Natural Resources, which oversees the Division of Wildlife Resources, Utah State Parks and Division of Water Resources, is again hosting the Youth Outdoor Sports Fair.
The fair is at the south end of the South Towne Expo Center. Events range from a chance to catch trout or bluegill, to making a survival kit and tying flies for fishing. Other activities include making a turkey call and a petroglyph; shooting a bow and arrow; driving remote-controlled, all-terrain vehicles; learning about safety in black bear country; safe boating; and water conservation.
All activities are free.
