Mike Ptaschinski, Holladay: Mike was just planning to do a drive-by of Jordanelle Reservoir back in January, but the ice looked safe, so he ventured out and ended up hooking into this 21-inch brown. He was fishing for perch on 2-pound test and was reeling in to head home when the brown hit. The fight proved exciting as the trout beelined for the bottom each time it neared the surface.
