The 11th annual Snow Goose Festival is Feb. 29-March 2 at Gunnison Bend Reservoir, west of Delta. The free event provides an opportunity to see as many as 10,000 migrating snow geese. There will be wildlife seminars and exhibits March 1. Snow sports film contest

The first annual Best of the West Snow Sports Film Competition is April 12 in Park City. Submissions may be made via the event Web site - www.bestofthewestfilmcompetition.com - between March 1 and April 4. The public will vote for favorites, and the top two finalists in each category will be submitted to a panel of celebrity athlete judges for final selection.
