Todd Baker, left, Ed Bitterman, right: With turkey sandwiches packed for lunch, Todd and Ed headed for Yuba Reservoir the day after Thanksgiving to chase northern pike. Todd, who lives in Draper, landed his 36 1/2 -inch, 13-pound pike on a white jig. Ed, who lives in Heber, caught his 27-inch, 7-pound fish on a 6-inch Rapala. That's Ed's son, Eddie, in the middle of the happy anglers.
