Avian idol for the birds
Tracy Aviary in Liberty Park will hold Avian Idol as part of its winter programs starting Saturday. The indoor show features a variety of birds displaying their hidden talents. The show will be held in the Chase Mill on weekends at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The performers will vary week to week and the audience will vote for favorites at each show.
Utah Big Game Guidebook
The 2008 Utah Big Game Guidebook, produced by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources as the rules and regulations to hunting big game in the state, is available at the agency's Web site, www.wildlife.utah.gov/proclamations. Copies of the guidebook are expected to be delivered to sporting goods stores this week.
