The National Weather Service's long-term forecast is not optimistic. The outlook through WednesdayNov. 21 is for above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation. The 10- to 14-day forecast, through Nov. 25 and the Thanksgiving weekend, is for temperatures to cool a little but precipitation to remain sparse, making it unlikely many resorts can live up to these tentative opening dates:
