WINTER READING: Fresh out for the season is Utah: The Complete Ski & Snowboard Guide by Michael Fine (The Countryman Press, $19.95). The book includes detailed chapters on each major ski resort, although it leaves out information on Nordic and backcountry skiing. Perhaps the best part of the book are the "Tips and Tricks" notes scattered throughout the text.
