The 21st annual Bison Range Ride and Roundup will be held on Antelope Island State Park Oct. 24-27. Volunteers on horseback will push the island's population of about 500 bison toward corrals from 8:30 a.m. to dusk daily, dependent on how long it takes to get them there.
Visitors may view riders and bison from the road on the east side of the island, which leads to the Fielding Garr Ranch.
Working of the bison in the corrals will take place Nov. 2-4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bison will be weighed, have blood drawn, be inoculated and have a microship placed behind the ear.
