Utah's 2007-08 waterfowl season opens Saturday and hunters are reminded to make sure they have a valid Migratory Game Bird Harvest Information Program (HIP) number. HIP numbers from last season are not valid. HIP numbers obtained for the 2007-2008 season are valid from Feb. 1 until Jan. 31. Log onto www.uthip.com or call 877-882-4744 to get a HIP number. A hunting or combination license is required to get the number.
