TAKE A PHOTOGRAPHIC TOUR OF THE STATE: Cache Valley resident Scott Smith is a self-taught photographer and a former research meteorologist. Smith selected 158 photos from 26 years of snapping to produce Utah: Wild and Beautiful. Tom Wharton of The Salt Lake Tribune provided a foreword for the book. The 10-by-12-inch hardcover runs $29.95 and was produced by Farcountry Press.
