Advisory Web page

Get waterfowl warnings online

The Utah Department of Health, Utah Department of Environmental Quality and Utah Division of Wildlife Resources have launched an educational Web page about waterfowl consumption advisories in the state because of mercury contamination. Warnings remain for common goldeneye, cinnamon teal and northern shoveler (pictured). The site is www.waterfowladvisories.utah.gov.

Hunters against hunger

Donate big game meat

The Utah Chapter of Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry is encouraging big-game hunters to donate all or part of the animals they harvest this hunting season. Look up meat processors at www.fhfh.org. Money donations are also needed to pay for the processing fee. Send an e-mail to kmbingham92@msn.com for more information.
