Rodney Hurst, Santaquin: Is there anything that could make landing an 8-pound smallmouth any better? How about catching it on a swimbait you created yourself? That's what Hurst did when he landed this 22 1/4 -inch smallie while fishing at Jordanelle Reservoir on Sept. 1.
