Antelope Island State Park is holding a variety of activities during Labor Day weekend.

The historic Fielding Garr Ranch on the island will hold demonstrations on making a pioneer handkerchief doll, dip candle and pioneer lantern through the day Saturday. Participants will need to bring a soup can if they want to make a lantern. Pioneer games also will be held throughout the day.

A Junior Ranger program on the Great Salt Lake's water cycle will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the visitor center and a State Parks naturalist will lead a stroll through the wetlands at the Fielding Garr Ranch at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The activities conclude with an evening program on nocturnal animals of the island Monday at 4 p.m. at the visitor's center.
