Free floating festival

Evanston Parks and Recreation is hosting a grand-opening celebration of the Bear River Rehabilitation Project in Evanston, Wyo., on June 9 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The free event includes kayak races; kayaking, canoe and paddle-boat demos; safety workshops; fly-fishing demos; a crawdad-catching contest; live music and food.
