Utah's youth bass tournament schedule is out, and young anglers this year will have the opportunity to qualify for the two biggest fishing contests in the country. Anglers can compete in both.

The FLW Utah Youth Fishing Tournament is open to anglers 11-18 in two divisions. Anglers can drop one tournament. The schedule is: May 19-20, East Canyon Reservoir and Echo Reservoir; June 9-10, Pelican Lake and Steinaker Reservoir; June 30, Hyrum Reservoir (year-end barbecue).

One qualifier from each age group will go to the FLW Junior World Tournament. Visit utahbassfederation.org/Youth.htm for more information on the FLW Tournament.

The Utah BASS Youth program includes age divisions for 7-10, 11-14 and 15-18 anglers. Qualifiers will compete in the Junior Bassmaster Classic.

The BASS schedule is: April 14, Sand Hollow Reservoir; June 23, Jordanelle Reservoir; July 21, Milner Reservoir in Burley, Idaho; Walcott Reservoir in Rupert, Idaho; Sept. 1, Willard Bay (wiper tournament and banquet)
