Rocky Mountain Raceway was the host of the 2004 World Championship Supercrawl. Drivers will be competing for a portion of a $25,000 purse in the Modified and Super Modified classes.
Tickets are $15 at the gate for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12 and free for those 4 and younger. Gates open at 5 p.m. July 29 with an elimination round starting at 6 p.m. The gates open at 10 a.m. July 30 with Round 2 of the eliminations at 11 a.m. The top 12 teams will advance to the semifinal round, which follows the elimination round.

Ability Center open house
The National Ability Center is holding an open house Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3351 Highway 248, Park City. Events include ability-based carnival games, a bounce castle and snow cones. A hot-dog lunch with snacks is also scheduled.

Utah Trails and Pathways
The 2006 Utah Trails and Pathways Conference is being held Sept 7-9 at the Eccles Conference Center in Ogden with the theme "Utah Trails: The Heartbeat of a Community."
John Librett, current principal of The Active Survivor's Network and former head of Trails for Health Initiative at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is the keynote presenter. Topics of discussion will include pathways for active people, walkable communities, trail safety, promoting trails, trail building and maintenance, ski trail grooming and preparing successful grant applications. A hands-on session will be held on a local mountain trail.

Ken Hudson Jorgenson will make a presentation with video of paragliding at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Salt Lake store, 3285 E. 3300 South, East Millcreek. Jorgenson will answer questions such as what is sky camping and how does one get started in paragliding.
