The Bureau of Land Management Salt Lake Field Office will hold an open house Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Historic Simpson Springs Pony Express Station near Faust in Tooele County. The event is part of the centennial celebration of the 1906 Antiquities Act. David Jabusch, a Pony Express expert and University of Utah professor, will present "The Folklore vs. Fakelore" at 11 a.m.

A Pony Express rider and mustang also will be on hand so visitors can get a sense of what the program was all about.
