It's not too early for ATV enthusiasts to sign up for the 2009 Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree, Sept. 14-18, in Richfield.

Last year, the event drew more than 1,000 riders from 37 states and three other countries. The jamboree includes guided rides, meals, an ATV rodeo and prize giveaways. The $150 per rider registration fee includes dinners, continental breakfasts, a T-shirt, a card for the poker run, and the opportunity to win numerous prizes.

On Sept. 15, Jamboree participants, guides, volunteers and citizens will attempt to break the world record for the largest parade of quadbikes (ATVs), currently held by the Harlan County Ridge Runners ATV Club of Evarts, Ky., with a total of 1,138 ATVs. Riders must be lined up at the Richfield City Park no later than 6:30 p.m. to participate.

To register or learn more about the jamboree, log on to www.atvjam.com or call 877-473-8368.
