More than 1,200 outdoor gear companies were hawking their latest and greatest items at the recent Outdoor Retailer Summer Show held at the Salt Palace Convention Center and Energy Solutions Arena. The general public isn't allowed at the convention so the "The Salt Lake Tribune" sent reporters Brett Prettyman, Tom Wharton, Mike Gorrell and Roxana Orellana to walk the floors of the massive show to get a look at the hottest gear.
