I don't get it. I just read that SB196 was signed by the governor, so there is no longer a ban on "advocacy of homosexuality" or "no-promo homo." Does this mean that there is now a special promotional offer going on? I am straight now but could I get a toaster oven or something if I switch sides?

I don't think gay people, gymnasts, left-handed people or redheads are normal. They did not choose to be abnormal. They just are. No reason for a parade or a special TV channel. It's like being proud of the color of your skin. You did not pick it; it just came with the package. I am an old white guy and I can tell you for certain I would have gone a couple shades darker if I had any say. This whole Michelin man color scheme doesn't go well with bold colors, like purple, that I would really like to wear.

I think it is high time we just accept people for what they are, as we are all abnormal in some fashion. If we ever get to that point, we won't need all these silly laws.

My own brother was both left-handed and redheaded and we let him stay in the family. We just made him stay in his room when we had company (full disclosure). I did try to sell him to the circus once, but they already had a left-handed redhead who could also juggle and there was just no competing with that.
