I am reminded — as I read the discontent about the laws passed by the Legislature this last session — that voters should be reminded to remember who allowed these bills to pass at the next voting opportunity at election time. The public tends to forget performance standards when candidates run for re-election. This is really the only way to effectively correct the actions of those in elective offices.
