Letter: Our country needs positivity, responsibility, truth and cooperation
(Tim Gruber | The New York Times)
A Republican tie at an event in Proctor, Minn., Sept. 14, 2018.
What has happened to the Republican Party? I’ve lost all respect for them. They are so far right (and righteous), claiming they’ll restore the nation’s values, when their candidate has no moral values.
Both Mike Lee and JD Vance publicly proclaimed they had concerns about Trump’s behavior, saying he was unfit to be president. Now they’ve both done a 180 degree flip and tell us they never really meant that. Guess what boys, Trump has not changed since your first impression.
The Republican Party is focused on negativity, denying, lying and dividing the country. They are inching towards becoming the Gestapo. Our country needs positivity, responsibility, truth, and cooperation which is not part of Trump’s campaign.
